Plan meaningful recreation programs as a Certified Activity Aide with robust leadership and documentation skills in a part-time position. Support residents through individualized and group activities.

Reporting to the Resident Program Manager, you will plan, facilitate, lead, and evaluate programs based on residents’ assessed needs, abilities, and interests. Programs address social, physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual dimensions. This role also supports transportation, resident monitoring, records, and departmental communication.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and evaluate one-to-one, self-directed, and group recreation programs
- Set up activity areas and transport residents to programs and meals
- Monitor resident behaviour and condition during activities
- Maintain attendance, progress notes, assessments, and program audits




- Collaborate with staff, volunteers, and multidisciplinary team members

Requirements:

- Recreation, leisure, therapeutic recreation, kinesiology, or related education
- Solid verbal, written, leadership, organization, and documentation skills
- Experience with Point Click Care, Activity Pro, and Microsoft Office preferred
- Experience planning programs for diverse populations
- Flexible, energetic, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
