Provide person-centered home care with Home Instead, using personal care and communication skills part time in the Waterloo Region. Support older adults while traveling to clients’ homes throughout the community.

As a Personal Support Worker, you will help older adults remain comfortable, safe, and supported at home. The work includes daily living assistance, companionship, meal preparation, and medication reminders. You will follow individualized care plans while collaborating with care teams and communicating with families or supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, and safe transfers
- Prepare meals and provide light housekeeping support
- Offer companionship and monitor client wellbeing
- Report condition changes to supervisors or family members




- Follow individualized care plans and quality standards

Requirements:

- Experience as a Support Worker or Personal Support Worker
- Strong interpersonal skills and respectful communication abilities
- Knowledge of safeguarding, confidentiality, and ethical care practices
- Relevant certification or training in personal support work
- Reliable transportation and flexibility for diverse shifts
