Design Siemens PLC and HMI software in Woodbridge, Ontario, supporting hands-on commissioning, debugging, and automated manufacturing equipment.

This six-month contract may extend or convert into a permanent position. The Controls Systems Software Designer / PLC Programmer develops and troubleshoots controls software for custom machines. The work spans machine building, industrial automation, manufacturing, and systems integration environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI programs
- Commission and debug machines in-house and at customer sites
- Diagnose electrical, pneumatic, robot, and conveyor issues
- Support integration, testing, FATs, SATs, and customer acceptance




- Provide technical support through installation and commissioning

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering
- Five to eight or more years of controls software experience
- Solid Siemens PLC and TIA Portal experience
- Ability to troubleshoot machines with limited documentation
- Ability to travel across Canada and the United States
