The Accountant position is responsible for analyzing, recording, and reporting financial data to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial information for Business Units and areas of responsibility.ResponsibilitiesReview revenue, expense, and payroll transactions for accuracy and compliance.Create accounting records and maintain accurate and timely financial data.Perform monthly close activities and prepare financial statements and other management reports.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year‑end adjustments and accruals.Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance.Monitor and analyze financial data to identify and resolve discrepancies.Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies, and assist in the implementation of accounting and internal control policies and procedures.Maintain and improve internal control processes to ensure financial accuracy and risk mitigation.Assist in the preparation of documentation and work directly for internal and external audit inquiries.Provide support to AP, AR, Payroll, and Operation teams to ensure smooth and compliant financial operations.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance,



or a related field.Actively working towards CPA (his/her).Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in Canada is preferred for Canadian positions.Experience3+ years of experience in accounting.Prior manufacturing experience preferred.Proficient in ERP systems (e.G., SAP, Oracle) and financial processes.SkillsProficient in basic financial systems (e.G., SAP, Oracle), Excel, Microsoft Office, and data entry tools.Able to perform routine reconciliations and transaction processing.Data analysis skills to identify trends, variations, and outliers.Ability to communicate and influence, both written and verbally.Compensation and BenefitsIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the anticipated starting pay for new hires is between $80,000-$90,000 CAD per year.Full-time employees are eligible for performance-based bonuses and perks.EEO StatementCreation Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
