Lead retail sales and customer experience at Michaels in Barrie, Ontario, using coaching and operational leadership across the store. Drive selling behaviors, service standards, and solid results through daily floor leadership.

The Sales Manager supports the Store Manager while leading front-end and service operations. This role focuses on customer-focused coaching, POS and Self-Checkout execution, and consistent Company standards. You will also support sales and service KPIs through efficient execution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead adherence to SOPs, Company programs, policies, and standards
- Coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors
- Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership
- Ensure accurate POS and Self-Checkout transactions




- Train, coach, and develop team members across departments

Requirements:

- Three or more years of retail leadership experience
- Ability to remain standing and move throughout the store
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 25 to 50 pounds
- Availability for nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Ability to climb ladders and perform repetitive motions
