Miami University seeks Visiting Faculty for per-course undergraduate nursing instruction and clinicals during Fall 2026. Teaching formats depend on departmental need.
Faculty will teach within the Nursing Department JM, with clinicals offered in a variety of settings. The search may support further hiring during Spring semester, Winter Term, and Summer Term. Candidates with college-level teaching experience or Master's and Doctoral degrees may receive consideration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate nursing courses during Fall 2026
- Conduct nursing clinical instruction as needed
- Deliver courses online when required
- Deliver courses face-to-face when required
- Teach clinicals across available instructional settings
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Valid Ohio Registered Nurse licensure without encumbrances
- Twenty-four months of Registered Nurse clinical experience
- Compliance with partnering agencies' clinical requirements
- Cover letter and resume or curriculum vitae required
Contribute Ohio-licensed nursing expertise to Miami University’s undergraduate courses and clinical education on a per-course basis.
