Use prescription dispensing accuracy and focused attention as a Pharmacy Assistant serving Calgary Co-op pharmacy customers. Support pharmacists while maintaining dependable pharmacy operations.

This Pharmacy Assistant position reports to the Pharmacy Manager and helps increase the pharmacist’s prospect to provide patient care. Responsibilities include prescription preparation, inventory management, customer interaction, merchandising, and administrative duties. You will work within Alberta Pharmaceutical Association guidelines and Calgary Co-op policies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with technical prescription dispensing activities
- Interact positively with customers and employees
- Support dispensary ordering, receiving, and stock rotation




- Assist with inventory counts and product returns
- Participate in special projects and continuous improvement

Requirements:

- Grade 12 education or acceptable experience and education
- Successful completion of Calgary Co-op’s Pharmacy Assistant test
- Recognized Pharmacy Assistant Program preferred
- Two years’ dispensing experience desirable
- High concentration, attentiveness, and accuracy
