Licensed journeyperson plumbing expertise supports EllisDon Facilities Services at Thunder Bay Correctional Centre through full time facility maintenance work.

This Journeyperson Plumber position requires at least five years of licensed experience and a valid provincial Certificate of Qualification. You will operate facility systems, maintain plumbing equipment, and complete preventative and corrective work. The role also includes routine mechanical and electrical system services within trade certification and company policy.

Key Responsibilities:

- Determine piping requirements and pipe sizing
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes
- Interpret blueprints and plumbing specifications
- Install, replace, and repair piping fixtures
- Test pipes for leaks and other problems

Requirements:

- Valid provincial Journeyman-level Plumbing license
- Minimum five years of licensed plumbing experience
- College diploma or certification
- Troubleshooting and resolution skills
- Willingness to work shifts and emergency call-outs
