Summary of Duties:Obtain patients' meal selections and food preferences on a daily basisEnter patients' menu selections into the computer system.Process and enter patients' food preferencesProcess diet changes, print late trays as requestedAnswer phone, handle and direct food related queries to appropriate staff.Additional tasks as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.Qualifications/Skills:Student or graduate of Food & Nutrition program is preferred1 year Nutrition/diet related experience is preferredGood telephone manner with demonstrated ability to communicate clearly both verbally and writtenGood interpersonal skills, demonstrated Patient Focused Care PhilosophyKnowledge of therapeutic nutrition is an assetCBORD knowledge is preferredFood Handler Certification is an assetProficient computer skills, including Word, Excel and OutlookKeyboarding skills at 50 w.P.M. with maximum 5% error rateAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
