Build warehouse expertise with Ryder as a Material Handler I in Caledon, Ontario, supporting forklift operations and accurate product handling overnight.

This full time, permanent position reports to the Logistics Supervisor and combines material handling with warehouse documentation and equipment support. You may load, pick, pack, ship, receive, operate a forklift, and complete cycle counts. The role requires accuracy under pressure, long periods standing, and lifting or pushing and pulling up to 35 pounds. Ryder operates across the United States and Canada, delivering integrated transportation, logistics, and supply chain management solutions. The scheduled shift is Tuesday through Friday, from 5:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform loading, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving tasks
- Operate forklifts and complete required cycle counting




- Audit products and maintain accurate warehouse flow
- Prepare picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, and paperwork
- Work independently with minimal supervision and assigned duties

Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One year related warehouse experience preferred
- Valid forklift operator license certification preferred
- Ability to communicate professionally across organizational levels
- Ability to work independently and within a diverse team
