The City of Nanaimo seeks a Roads Serviceperson I reporting to a Supervisor. You will construct and maintain concrete sidewalks, brick pavers, boulevards, asphalt roadways, and pathways. The work also includes operating, maintaining, and servicing mobile construction equipment, vehicles, and related attachments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Construct and maintain roads and related infrastructure
- Apply concrete construction and finishing techniques
- Maintain concrete sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and driveways
- Operate mobile construction and maintenance equipment
- Service vehicles and equipment with related attachments

Requirements:

- Grade 12 education or equivalent combination
- Minimum six months concrete construction experience
- Valid traffic control ticket
- Valid Class 3 British Columbia Driver’s Licence
- Air Endorsement maintained on the driver’s licence
