Provide patient care as a Health Care Aide in Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland and Labrador. Support comfort, personal care, and daily needs onsite.

This permanent, full time Health Care Aide position works in a nursing home or home for the aged. The role requires a one- to two-year college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma, plus one to less than two years of experience. You will support patients through personal care, vital-sign checks, meals, mobility, room maintenance, transportation, and emergency first aid.

Key Responsibilities:

- Bathe, dress, groom, and provide personal care
- Take patients' blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Serve meal trays and feed patients
- Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients
- Answer call signals and provide first aid

Requirements:

- One- to two-year relevant certificate or diploma
- One to less than two years of experience
- Criminal record check
- Ability to work under pressure
- Client focus, reliability, and flexibility
