With multiple awards to our name, Larian Studios has proven that we're dedicated to delivering high-quality role-playing games As we move on to recent projects, the studio that brought you Baldur's Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for a Scripter to join the team and help us in crafting the high calibre games our fans have come to expect.ResponsibilitiesTake internal narrative pitches and create engaging gameplay sequences, with a wide variety of outcomes, to reward player agency and deliver a fun experienceCollaborate with narrative, art, animation and writing teams to create outstanding game contentContribute and own gameplay features and scripting mechanics.Learn and eventually master our internal scripting framework and languages, implementing gameplay sequences and delivering technically sound featuresBe an integral part of the local team: mentoring junior developers, sharing knowledge, proactively seeking solutions to blockers and participating constructively in discussionsRequirementsAble to clearly communicate requirements and solutions: explain complex ideas, suggest approaches and prepare pitchesProfessional Technical Design, Narrative design, Gameplay Scripting or Game Programming experienceExperience developing RPG games or games adjacent in scope or player-experience to Larian gamesFamiliarity with Jira/Confluence or similar softwareSelf-organized and self-motivated.
