Design transportation infrastructure with EXP using MicroStation Connect and OpenRoads in Markham, Brampton, London, or Hamilton, Ontario offices.

As a Transportation Designer, you will support Transit, Highway, and Municipal Infrastructure projects. Prepare roadway drawings, project designs, specifications, quantity calculations, and tender documents under Project Manager direction. Coordinate drawings with engineers, managers, and design staff while mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare preliminary and detailed transportation infrastructure drawings
- Design roadways, watermains, drainage systems, and construction staging
- Calculate quantities for estimates and tender documents
- Coordinate drawings with project engineers and managers




- Mentor junior staff under senior staff direction

Requirements:

- Three to eight years of roadway design experience
- Proficiency with MicroStation Connect, OpenRoads, and ProjectWise
- Robust AutoCAD Civil 3D, Word, Excel, and MS Project skills
- Knowledge of MTO, Metrolinx, municipal, and regional standards
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities and meet stringent schedules
