You'll manage new patient admissions, conduct daily rounding, and respond to urgent medical situations in collaboration with peers. A solid commitment to integrating your acute care practice is essential as you contribute to our medical community.Key Responsibilities:Admit unassigned patients from the EDConduct patient rounding and stabilization dailyRespond to urgent, non-code patient needsParticipate in on-call rotations as neededCover multiple ER shifts per monthRequirements:Mandatory ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certificationsFull CPSBC license requiredPrior experience in emergency settingsPreferred: CCFP in Emergency MedicineCompleted family medicine training from accredited institutionsMake a meaningful impact in both inpatient and emergency care at Sechelt Hospital with Vancouver Coastal Health.
