Develop carpentry skills with NDY Contracting in Squamish, working toward site leadership through framing, formwork, and general carpentry.

This Carpenter position supports commercial construction management and general contracting across the Sea to Sky region. Work alongside experienced carpenters and site leaders while reading drawings, supporting layout, and maintaining quality. The role suits a registered apprentice, recently qualified carpenter, or experienced construction worker. Development can continue toward a Leading Hand role and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete framing, formwork, backing, blocking, and general carpentry
- Read drawings, specifications, and details appropriate to experience
- Assist with measurements, layout, quality control, and site verification




- Support material handling, deliveries, logistics, and site organization
- Communicate progress, material needs, and potential issues

Requirements:

- Registered apprentice or relevant carpentry and construction experience
- Ideally one to two or more years of experience
- Basic construction drawing and tool-use abilities
- Valid British Columbia driver's licence
- First Aid Level 1 or willingness to obtain

Build quality carpentry experience with NDY Contracting while developing planning, coordination, and leadership skills on commercial projects.
