IS2 Workforce Solutions is recruiting for experienced Welder/Fitters for a steel manufacturing client in the Holland Landing area. We are looking for experienced Welder/Fitters, with a strong focus on fitting, to join a busy structural steel manufacturing environment.

Pay: $27–$30/hour – Based on Experience. Shifts Available: Days: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM; Afternoons: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM.

Duties

- Fit and weld structural steel components using MIG welding.
- Read and interpret shop drawings and welding diagrams.
- Measure, position, align, and assemble steel components.
- Work with custom steel components and assemblies.
- Use hand tools, torches, and other fabrication equipment.
- Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Requirements





- 3+ years of structural steel welding and fitting experience.
- Strong fitting skills and MIG welding experience.
- Ability to read and understand shop drawings.
- Experience working in a steel fabrication or manufacturing setting.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Comfortable with physically demanding work.
- Safety-conscious and reliable.
- Overhead crane and rigging experience.
- CWB certification.
- TSSA tickets.
- Custom steel fabrication experience.
