The Equity Sales Trading team represents institutional clients on the equity marketplace via research, trade ideas, market trend identification, trade orders, risk management and expert analysis. The role reports to the Managing Director, Head of Canada Cash Equity Trading and involves client facilitation, investor and corporate coverage responsibilities, maintaining positions within approved limits, and enhancing the bank’s market profile. Depth & Scope Fully informed on market data, economic information and key industry developments to maximize profitability. Develops and maintains contacts with market participants. Ensures transactions are fully documented and processed accurately and timely. Strictly adheres to firm procedures at the personal and desk level. Communicates bank policy information and strategy between product head and trading personnel. Aligns business dealings with approved Business Strategies and Strategic Business Reviews. Follows Market Risk Policies and approved Trading Strategies. Follows Credit Risk Policies and procedures, ensuring sales and trading activity is compliant. Demonstrates governance, control and risk management behaviors in line with TD policies and practices.

Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance) or Mathematics/Economics. Canadian and US equity licenses, including Series 7 and 63 licenses.
