Reporting to the CFO, the Director of Finance steers financial planning, analysis, and decision-making. The role covers budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, risk management, and commercial contract review. It also develops people while supporting Canlan Sports’ financial resilience and growth.

Lead annual budgeting and improve rolling forecast processesAnalyze financials, variances, forecasts, and performance indicatorsPrepare consolidated P&L; and cash flow projectionsSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closeMentor Financial Analyst and supervise strategic sourcing leadershipRequirements:
Six-plus years of progressive finance, accounting, and compliance experienceAt least two years leading a teamHands-on budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement preparation experienceAdvanced Excel and financial modeling capabilityBachelor’s degree plus CPA, MBA, or CFA designationBring FP&A; leadership, analytical judgment, and financial modeling expertise to Canlan Sports’ Burnaby finance team.
