Support children at YMCA Camp Pine Crest as a Day Camp Counsellor, leading safe activities and supervising campers in Torrance, Ontario.

This seasonal hourly contract supports daily camp programming for children and youth. You will follow plans, lead recreational swimming, build relationships, and provide positive participant experiences. The position requires flexibility across six days weekly between Monday and Sunday.

Key Responsibilities:

- Follow plans and maintain safe, engaging camp environments
- Lead camp programs, including recreational swimming
- Supervise campers and support participant success
- Serve parents during pickup and dropoff
- Build relationships with staff, volunteers, and partners

Requirements:

- First Aid and CPR certification meeting stated requirements
- Prior child or day camp experience considered an asset
- Solid organization, attention to detail, and adaptability
- Effective interpersonal and relationshipbuilding skills
- Minimum age of 17 by December 31, 2026
