This position maintains facilities through cleaning, waste handling, washroom restocking, laundry, and groundskeeping. You will operate cleaning equipment, handle hazardous chemicals carefully, keep food bank areas safe, and contribute to safety for staff, volunteers, donors, clients, and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain WHMIS-compliant labels on mixed cleaner bottles
- Keep food bank areas clean and secure
- Clear fire exits, spills, and indoor or outdoor obstacles
- Perform laundry services according to program needs
- Report workplace hazards, injuries, illness, and safety issues

Requirements:

- Completion of secondary school
- Knowledge of health and safety standards
- Moderate to high attention when handling hazardous chemicals
- Ability to use general cleaning equipment safely
- Compliance with OH&S; legislation and organizational policies
