Location:Edmonton, ABType:1 year contractRate:$96/hAbout the RoleWe are seeking a senior-level Cost / Schedule / Controls Engineer / Specialist II. This role is ideal for a highly experienced project controls professional with strong cost estimation expertise who can adapt across a variety of industries including upstream oil & gas, refining, mining, heavy civil, and drilling projects.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and coordinate cost estimates across all project phases (Gate & funding milestones)Perform quality assurance reviews and estimating oversight for internal and externally operated projectsDevelop check estimates and schedules for benchmarking and validationCollaborate closely with project managers, estimators, schedulers, and accounting teamsParticipate in cost and schedule validation/assessment reviewsContribute to continuous improvement of estimating tools, processes, and QA standardsSupport both regulated and non-regulated reporting requirementsSupport project controls activities, including:Cost tracking and reportingChange management and cost controlMonthly progress reportingProject ScopeProjects across Alberta and OntarioInitial assignment may involve shared or smaller scopes,
