This program is designed for community dwelling seniors with physical frailty as well as mild cognitive impairments.Key ResponsibilitiesProvides sound clinical knowledge and skills, acts as clinical expert and resourceProvides comprehensive, quality client/family centred health care servicesPlans for, delivers and evaluates nursing interventions, including medications, Rapid Antigen testing (RAT), as well as treatments which fall within the RPN's scope of practiceProvides client-centred care within an interdisciplinary care team to meet the personal care, activation, recreation and spiritual needs of clientsQualificationsCurrent registration, in good standing, from the College of Nurses of Ontario ('CNO') is requiredCurrent Basic Cardiac Life Support ('BCLS') certificate, Level C - Automated External Device ('AED') is requiredExperience with clients in day programs setting or residents in a Community Setting preferredCertificate in Dementia Care preferredTraining in Gentle Persuasive Approach and U-First preferred
