Support metal fabrication at BP Machine Ltd. in Edmonton using cleaning equipment, hand tools, and powered plant equipment. This is full-time, on-site work.

As a Metal Fabrication Shop Helper, you will work in a sheet metal fabrication shop and heavy machinery manufacturing facility. The work includes assisting metal workers, handling materials, reading work orders, and preparing metal products. The workplace is dusty and hot, with morning, day, weekend, flexible hours, and overtime available.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate equipment removing welds, rust, scale, and materials
- Transport materials, products, and equipment throughout the plant
- Assist structural steel and sheet metal workers
- Sort metal sheets, parts, scrap, and materials
- Grind, clean, load, unload, and polish metal products

Requirements:

- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System Certificate
- Experience with deburrers and dollies
- Ability to read and interpret work orders
- Ability to perform manual material handling
- Authorization to work in Canada
