In this Fabrication Administrator position, you will keep project information accurate and accessible throughout fabrication. Reporting to the Fabrication Manager, you will manage drawings, specifications, work orders, material records, quality documentation, and closeout packages. Pitt Meadows Plumbing and Mechanical Systems specializes in pre-fabrication, modular systems, and installation for large-scale design-build work. The position supports residential, commercial, institutional, educational, and medical projects while participating in Lean and continuous improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain document control throughout each fabrication project
- Compile material certificates, mill reports, and inspection records




- Track substitutions, approvals, and project-specific material requirements
- Prepare shipping documentation and project handover records
- Support the shop’s Lean and continuous improvement work

Requirements:

- Minimum three years in administrative or project controls work
- Experience preparing production or project documentation packages
- Ability to read fabrication drawings, spool drawings, and specifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and cloud-based file management
- Detail-oriented, accurate, reliable, and proactive approach
