This apprenticeship supports secure operation and maintenance of industrial equipment and processes. You will inspect machinery, repair mechanical equipment, troubleshoot PLC controlled machinery, and document completed work. The role requires attention to HSE policies, regulatory guidelines, and manufacturer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect and repair mechanical equipment and industrial machinery
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and costs
- Troubleshoot malfunctions and complete downtime repairs
- Identify hazards, perform lockouts,



and respond to emergencies
- Record work orders, logs, and maintenance reports

Requirements:

- Complete one to three apprenticeship years of required hours
- Ideally complete Millwright Mechanic 443A classroom education
- Maintain active registration with the Ministry's College of Trades
- Work day and night shifts lasting eight to twelve hours
- Read electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics

Build millwright experience through industrial machinery inspection, PLC troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and accurate maintenance documentation.
