Support seniors at Lake Country Lodge as a Health Care Aide on an evening shift with resident care and daily living assistance.

Reporting to an Associate Director of Care, this temporary full time position lasts six months. You will support residents within long-term care, building relationships with residents and families while respecting individual care plans. The schedule follows five days on, two days off, then five days on and three days off.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support eating, dressing, hygiene, and grooming activities
- Encourage residents to use glasses and hearing aids
- Administer specific medications after prescribed training
- Maintain access to canes, walkers, and call bells
- Provide cognitive, social, emotional, spiritual, oral, and dental support

Requirements:

- Completed approved college Health Care Aide program
- Compassion and dedication to supporting seniors
- Proficiency in simple treatment procedures and bedside care
- Tact and diplomacy with seniors, families, and visitors
- Successful Vulnerable Sector Check and Canadian work eligibility
