The work also involves scheduling repairs, procuring parts, completing reports, and maintaining accurate records. GFL requires safe work practices and compliance with applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair heavy duty diesel equipment difficulties
- Maintain diesel, CNG, gas, and electric vehicles
- Plan repairs in M5 planner and procure parts
- Complete reports, work orders, and administrative duties
- Maintain clean, protected working conditions and equipment

Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED; technical diploma desired
- Minimum one year of diesel mechanic experience
- Diagnostic software experience is an asset
- Computer literacy and willingness to learn software systems
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 100 pounds
