This Lab Technician I position performs routine sample preparation and analysis using ICP, GC ECD, Bomb Calorimeter, Auto Titrator, and Karl-Fischer. The work supports production, sales, operations, and materials moving through GFL facilities. Previous laboratory experience is an asset, while accurate records, safety awareness, and procedural consistency remain essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and analyze routine samples using laboratory instruments
- Sample drums and perform compatibility testing and analysis
- Report analytical results and coordinate with production personnel
- Maintain analysis, maintenance,



and production records accurately
- Perform lab packing, housekeeping, and assigned facility duties

Requirements:

- Environmental or Chemical Engineering Technician or Technologist diploma
- Previous laboratory experience is an asset
- Competent MS Windows and Office computer skills
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to follow procedures, multitask, and work shifts
