Analyze group insurance risk in Montreal as a Group Insurance Underwriter, using Excel and sound judgment. Work in a hybrid environment with iA Financial Group.

Reporting to the Underwriting Manager, you will prepare quotes, underwrite renewals, and assess contract amendments. The role uses analytical and problem-solving skills across financial risk assessment. You will collaborate with Sales and Actuarial teams while supporting underwriting process improvements, automation, and new technology tools.

Key Responsibilities:

- Determine rates for prospective group insurance clients
- Prepare quotes and assess financial risk
- Underwrite renewals for existing clients
- Assess pricing impacts from contract amendments




- Support automation and underwriting process improvements

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, actuarial science, finance, or related field
- Zero to three years’ group insurance underwriting experience considered an asset
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and good Microsoft Office proficiency
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Qualified French and intermediate English communication abilities
