Operate snowplows and heavy equipment with Ledcor Highways Ltd. across Alberta. Help maintain safe highways while working outdoors in changing conditions.

This highway maintenance operator role covers winter seasonal work from October 1st through April 30th, with potential for year-round employment. You will operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and other equipment while supporting Alberta Provincial Highway maintenance. Duties include labourer tasks such as crack sealing, pothole repair, bridge and signage cleaning, and hazard remediation. Training is provided for relevant equipment experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and heavy equipment
- Maintain Alberta Provincial Highways during winter operations




- Assist with crack sealing and pothole repair
- Clean bridges and highway signage
- Work outside in all weather conditions

Requirements:

- Valid Class 1, 2, or 3 licence with air endorsement
- Explicit three-year driver’s abstract
- Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Lift up to 50 pounds during physically demanding work
- Previous snowplow or wheel loader experience is an asset
