Coordinate Christmas Central for The Salvation Army, using intake support and public-facing service skills in a seasonal part time contract.

This Christmas Central worker supports Community and Family Services with the seasonal Christmas hamper program. The position coordinates intake and delivery activities while working with Community Services intake workers. Responsibilities include applications, supplies, daily returns, and centre operations. Professional conduct and confidentiality are required when serving clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Help establish and set up Christmas Central
- Complete and instruct all hamper application areas
- Coordinate with Community Services intake workers
- Maintain supplies and oversee centre opening and closure
- Return completed applications to Care & Share daily

Requirements:

- High school completion preferred
- One year community program experience or volunteering an asset
- Strong people skills and courteous public service
- Ability to protect confidential client information
- Valid BC Driver's License and required screening
