As a Health Care Assistant, Residential Care, you will follow established care plans for diverse populations. You will assist with personal care, leisure activities, dining, mobility, and resident participation. The position supports continuity, consistency, and involvement from families and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with toileting, bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobilization
- Support established leisure activities and encourage resident participation
- Observe, document, and report changes in abilities and behaviour
- Use lifts,



wheelchairs, and stretchers for secure positioning
- Take temperatures, weights, and obtain laboratory specimens

Requirements:

- Grade 10 education or equivalent combination of qualifications
- Recognized Health Care Assistant Program graduation
- Food Safety Certificate Level 1
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities
- Physical ability to carry out position duties
