Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies for Northview’s residential portfolio in Calgary. Troubleshoot building systems while delivering clear, qualified resident communication.

This Maintenance Technician role reports to the Regional Manager and combines independent work with contractor coordination. You will prioritize work orders, document completed repairs, inspect properties, and escalate specialized issues. Daily tasks include minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance, lock, exterior, and suite maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Troubleshoot and prioritize work orders and emergency situations
- Communicate repairs, access needs, delays, and follow-up
- Escalate deficiencies requiring specialized trades or remediation




- Complete inspections and accurately document maintenance activities
- Participate in after-hours emergency protocols and on-call rotation

Requirements:

- Previous experience in building or property maintenance
- Ability to work independently and manage competing requests
- Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills
- Professional communication with residents, contractors, and team members
- Ability to provide a relevant criminal record check
