Lead outdoor day camp programming at YMCA Camp Pine Crest in Torrance, Ontario, coordinating staff, schedules, and family communication. Work six days weekly between Monday and Sunday.

The Day Camp Coordinator oversees Little Critters and Nature Explorers for campers aged four to twelve. You will guide the Day Camp Program Head and counsellors through coaching, feedback, and performance monitoring. The work supports secure, engaging programming across Camp Pine Crest.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee consistent implementation of Day Camp program plans
- Plan schedules with the Program Head and Coordinator
- Train, coach, motivate, and monitor camp staff
- Communicate daily with campers and their families
- Coordinate relationships with staff, volunteers,



and partners

Requirements:

- Current National Lifeguard Service certification by employment start
- First Aid and CPR meeting Ontario WSIB requirements
- At least three years’ child-oriented program experience
- At least two years’ supervisory experience in transferable settings
- Experience planning programs for children aged four to twelve
