Diagnose and repair heavy trucks and trailers as a licensed Penske Technician I in Cambridge, Ontario, using diagnostic tools and welding equipment.

Penske seeks an experienced, licensed technician for its 105 Saltsman Dr location. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot engines, transmissions, and differentials, and complete repairs with little or no supervision. The Sunday-to-Wednesday schedule runs from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform preventive maintenance services on trucks and trailers
- Diagnose malfunctions using test instruments and diagnostic equipment
- Repair engines, transmissions, differentials, and related components
- Inspect brakes, steering, bearings, guards, and safety devices
- Road test vehicles when necessary to verify repairs

Requirements:

- Five or more years of tractor trailer maintenance experience
- Provincial Red Seal or 310T license
- Class D or Class 3 license with air brakes
- Proficiency with welding, diagnostic, hand, and power tools
- Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions
