Guillevin’s GIR DEL Business Centre seeks a Machinist for regular full time work. You will produce small batches or large quantities using lathes, milling machines, grinders, and computer-controlled machinery. The work includes selecting tools, planning operations, writing basic programs, and modifying programs when problems arise.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and computer-controlled machinery
- Review blueprints and specifications before machining jobs
- Select tools, materials, cutting paths, and operation sequences
- Monitor feed rates, speeds, lubrication,



temperature, and cut accuracy
- Write and modify basic machine tool programs

Requirements:

- Minimum three years’ experience in a similar position
- Good math skills for machining calculations
- Ability to calculate cutting and boring locations
- Ability to shape steel, aluminum, titanium, plastic, and silicon
- Experience checking finished work against specifications
