Lead AMD Xilinx hardware and software support for key customers as an Avnet Field Application Engineer focused on SoC technology.

Avnet seeks a technical skilled to support customer designs before and after sale. You will guide FPGA and ASIC initiatives, advise engineers and architects, and contribute to customer-focused technical sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive Xilinx technical initiatives with the dedicated Technical Sales Engineer
- Guide AMD Xilinx design win strategies for customer opportunities
- Advise designers on Xilinx IP, tools, and hardware devices
- Manage support issues, design closure, simulation, and system debug
- Deliver technical proposals, demonstrations, and example designs

Requirements:

- Eight-plus years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Experience with FPGA and ASIC design tools
- Vivado, Vitis, ISE, or Quartus experience required
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
