meet with market intermediaries or clients alongside the group insurance advisor to explain and negotiate files Participate in the ongoing training of junior and intermediate underwriters Provide technical support to other departments of the company Perform any other related tasks or general duties required by the role Ideal CandidatePost‑secondary degree in business administration, mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, or finance Minimum of 10 years of experience in group insurance pricing Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word Excellent reasoning, judgment, and decision‑making abilities Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent time‑management skills and ability to work in a constantly changing environment with multiple tasks and priorities Excellent negotiation skills and a passion for teamwork CompensationSalary Range: $91,831 to $101,014 (CAD). Base Pay may vary depending on the successful candidate or other relevant job‑related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and education/training. In addition to Base Pay, eligible employees may participate in various performance‑based incentive programs. Payments under these programs are discretionary and subject to both individual and organizational results.
