Lead general accounting and financial planning for PACCAR Financial of Canada, supporting reporting, forecasting, and cross-functional systems work. This Assistant Controller role is based within PACCAR’s Canadian financial services subsidiary.

Reporting to the PACCAR Financial Controller, you will lead general accounting, budgets, forecasts, and monthly close activities. The position connects Accounting and Business teams while providing leadership and mentorship to accounting staff.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage general ledger interfaces with accounting and treasury subsystems
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and monthly profit projections
- Supervise monthly close and daily accounting functions
- Prepare financial statements, journal entries,



and reconciliations
- Support SOX compliance, documentation, testing, and tax audits

Requirements:

- BA or BS in Accounting required
- CPA designation required
- Eight years of professional or corporate experience required
- Five years of general accounting experience required
- Robust Excel, Access, PowerPoint, analytical, and organizational skills
