This Senior Tunnel Engineer role covers tunnels, shafts, underground stations and associated structures. You will guide design, construction and assessment activities using tunnelling methods, temporary works, ground conditions and construction risk expertise. The position requires sound commercial awareness and project leadership from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

- Degree in civil, structural or geotechnical engineering
- Substantial tunnel engineering and underground construction experience
- Professional registration or progress toward chartership
- Understanding of British Standards and Eurocodes
- Knowledge of contemporary tunnelling techniques and construction contracts
