Design 12 kV to 500 kV substations for Qualus from Calgary or Vancouver, applying AutoCAD, MicroStation, and electrical engineering expertise. As Lead Electrical Designer, you will support Qualus’s T&D; business under the Engineering Manager for Substations. The work spans low and high voltage projects from conception through construction. Your experience will guide calculations, drawings, specifications, vendor reviews, and construction support while maintaining project requirements, budgets, schedules, and protected design practices. Key Responsibilities: Perform electrical design for 12 kV to 500 kV substations Develop load, battery, cable, lighting, grounding, and routing calculations Prepare one-line diagrams, plans, sections, schedules, and wiring diagrams Review documents, vendor submissions,
