Design advanced optical hardware in Ottawa with Lumentum, using analog circuits, mixed-signal design, and Cadence or Ansys in office.

This full-time Electronics Engineer position leads hardware development from concept through production. You will define components and circuitries for laser drivers, TIAs, power supplies, and other analog designs. The work includes team leadership, testing, validation, and product support through NPI.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead advanced hardware design for optical systems through production
- Lead extended development teams across engineering functions
- Define components and circuitries for analog designs
- Conduct hardware testing and validate performance and reliability
- Create schematics, guide PCB layouts,



and perform simulations

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum ten years of applicable experience
- Expertise in complex PCBA design and mixed-signal electronics
- Proficiency with Cadence, Ansys, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers
- Excellent communication skills across local and remote teams
