The Student Network Administrator supports Cameco’s Network & Communications team. Working alongside Network Administrators, you will assist with equipment deployment, troubleshooting, documentation, and infrastructure improvements. The role provides practical exposure to switches, routers, wireless access points, and basic network administration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, test, and deploy network equipment
- Troubleshoot wired and wireless connectivity issues
- Support equipment replacements, upgrades, and lifecycle activities
- Perform basic network administration and validation tasks




- Maintain diagrams, inventories, IP addressing, and configuration records

Requirements:

- Currently enrolled in computer science or related studies
- Returning to school after the Cameco work term
- Coursework or experience aligned with Cisco CCNA fundamentals
- Familiarity with Cisco networking or wireless technologies
- Criminal record background check required
