Support addiction and alcohol-related care with assessment and counselling skills across Winnipeg Health Region services. This role serves individuals, couples, and families.

Reporting to the Program Supervisor, the Rehabilitation Counsellor provides client-centred treatment services. Duties include intake, assessment, referrals, case management, treatment planning, educational sessions, and continuing care. Knowledge of addictions and mental health supports service delivery within a complex system.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct treatment services for individuals, couples, and families
- Complete intake and assessment for addiction-related concerns
- Provide counselling, referrals, and case management
- Develop treatment plans and continuing care services




- Facilitate educational sessions and community activities

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree with one year supervised counselling experience
- Or applied counselling diploma with two years’ experience
- Knowledge of addictions and mental health fields
- Motivational Interviewing training or experience
- Active regulatory body membership where applicable
