Lead financial reporting and month-end close as an Accounting Manager with The Dufresne Group in Winnipeg, using reconciliations and controls.

This full time, hybrid Home Office position leads accounting activities for assigned business areas. You will deliver accurate financial information, review financial statements and reconciliations, strengthen processes and controls, and support timely month-end and year-end close. The role also includes coaching team members and supporting business decisions through reliable reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage month-end and year-end accounting and reporting activities
- Review account reconciliations, financial results, and supporting schedules
- Maintain accounting processes, controls, and documentation




- Coordinate audit requirements and compliance documentation
- Coach team members through technical guidance and cross-training

Requirements:

- At least five years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of financial statements and internal controls
- Experience reviewing work and providing technical guidance
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel and ERP experience are assets
