As a Senior Mechanical Designer, you will develop mechanical designs with limited supervision from early design through permits and construction. You will collaborate with engineers, project leads, designers, and clients using Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office. The work includes HVAC, plumbing, hydronic systems, equipment sizing, and technical documentation. Gerrits reviews resumes for prospective opportunities as its team grows.

Key Responsibilities:

- Produce detailed design documents with engineers, leads, designers, and clients
- Manage assigned scopes, deliverables, deadlines, and technical responsibilities
- Prepare Revit and AutoCAD drawings, specifications, schematics,



and layouts
- Perform calculations and equipment sizing with the Lead Engineer
- Review documents, communicate design intent, and prepare field reports

Requirements:

- Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering Technology
- At least six years of Designer experience
- Advanced Revit skills, plus AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, hydronic systems, and Ontario Building Code
- Strong communication, organization, leadership, and critical-thinking skills
