As a Claims Technical Consultant, Surety, you will report to the Claims Manager for Surety and Trade Credit Insurance, Quebec. You will manage complex claims, assess eligibility, minimize losses, and support compliance with Intact’s obligations. Your work will contribute to profitability and cycle time objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze complex surety claims with construction project stakeholders
- Develop strategies to minimize losses and respect obligations
- Coordinate complex litigation files and technical aspects
- Manage claims administration and assign team tasks




- Document activity and report regularly to management

Requirements:

- Post-secondary degree in law, engineering, business, finance, or accounting
- Ten or more years of relevant work experience
- Strong analytical, decision-making, negotiation, and communication skills
- Valid AMF Claims Adjuster licence or obtaining it
- French-English bilingualism and prior surety claims experience preferred
