Develop Java backend features at Intelerad while working with Linux, PostgreSQL, and AI-assisted tools in a regulated healthcare setting.

As a Junior Software Developer, you will support the IntelePACS Backend team building enterprise medical imaging capabilities. You will grow under senior developer guidance while learning backend components, imaging workflows, and responsible AI-assisted development. The work includes Java, object-oriented programming, relational databases, SQL, REST APIs, and automated testing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop scoped backend features and fixes
- Test and document contributions under regulated SDLC practices
- Participate in code reviews and expand automated test coverage




- Investigate defects and security findings in assigned components
- Use and verify agentic coding tools during development

Requirements:

- One to three years developing commercial software
- Solid Java and object-oriented programming foundation
- Familiarity with Linux, SQL, PostgreSQL, and REST APIs
- Exposure to unit testing and Git version control
- Experience using AI coding assistants or agentic tools
