Based in EXP’s Calgary office, this Land Development Design Technologist supports senior staff, Project Engineers, Project Managers, and the Discipline Manager. The position contributes to large residential, industrial, and commercial developments around Calgary. Your work includes municipal infrastructure design, calculations under professional engineer supervision, and engineering drawings. Projects use AutoCAD Civil 3D from concept through completion, with deliverables submitted to local approving authorities. The role also includes record drawing preparation and collaboration across project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design water mains and sanitary sewer systems




- Design storm drainage, lot grading, and roadways
- Design stormwater management facilities
- Perform design calculations under professional engineer supervision
- Prepare engineering record drawings for land development projects

Requirements:

- Civil Engineering Degree or Technology Diploma
- Minimum three years using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Solid detail orientation and organizational abilities
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle required
